Bond reduction denied for Mercer shooting suspect

PRINCETON (WVVA) - A man accused in a New Year's Eve shooting in Mercer County had his motion for a bond reduction denied Thursday.

David Cline, 31, of Lashmeet is charged with attempted murder and malicious wounding in the Dec. 31, 2012 shooting of another man in the Lashmeet area.

Cline remains in Southern Regional Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

Another hearing is set for next week.
