Burglary suspect apprehended in Fayette County


KILSYTHE (WVVA) - A Fayette County man was arrested Tuesday night after sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a burglary at a home in the Kilsythe area.

Fayette County 911 received a call around 8 p.m. of a suspicious male on the porch of a home on Kilsythe Road.

While en route to the scene, deputies were notified by dispatch that the suspect had gained entry into the home. The home owner was out of town.

Upon arrival, sheriff's deputies located the male inside the home. He was taken into custody with the use of a K-9 unit.

The suspect, identified as Kenneth Jesse James, 52, of Mount Hope, was charged with burglary.

He was taken to Southern Regional Jail where he was awaiting arraignment.
