    MERCER CO. (WVVA) - Dustie Beller was on trial for running over a woman with her car all for chainsaw. While she was found not guilty of attempted murder, the jury did find her guilty of petty larceny, conspiracy, failure to stop and render aid, and malicious wounding. UPDATE:

ALTA, W. Va (WVVA)-- More details have been released about a shooting in Alta in Greenbrier County.

It happened at a home in a trailer park called "Alta Acres" in Alta, just off Route 12.

Greenbrier County Sheriff Jan Cahill said the shooter is 51-year-old Anthony Lee Ramsey of Asbury.  Police say Ramsey confessed to shooting 25-year-old Brian Meadows. Both were living in the home where the shooting took place.

According to court documents, police responded to a call about a shooting and found Ramsey sitting in front of the home when they arrived.

He was arrested without incident, and confessed to the crime at the scene.

Police found Meadows lying face down in the home, with a 12-gauge shotgun lying on the floor next to him.

Sheriff Cahill says the situation began with a verbal argument that then escalated when Ramsey loaded his gun and shot Meadows. He adds that alcohol was a contributing factor.

Police say a medical examiner has confirmed Meadows' death.

Ramsey is charged with murder and is behind bars at Southern Regional Jail awaiting a preliminary hearing.

ALTA (WVVA) - One man is dead and another arrested in a shooting in Greenbrier County. 

It happened in Alta Acres, a trailer park behind a business near Route 12. Police responded to the call about an altercation around 7:30 PM. The Greenbrier County Sheriff's Office, Lewisburg Police Department, and the West Virginia State Police were on the scene.

Greenbrier County Sheriff Jan Cahill has confirmed one man is in custody, and another dead after a shooting there.

WVVA's Kristen Conner reports that the two men lived in the same trailer.   

The names of those involved have not been released.
