WAR (WVVA) - One person was arrested in McDowell County Tuesday after police issued a search warrant at the site of a suspected meth lab.
Deputy Muncy of the McDowell County Sheriff's Department tells WVVA News the bust -- done with cooperation from the Southern Regional Drug and Violent Crime Task Force -- was conducted around Noon in the War area.
The man in custody has been identified as 20-year-old Greer Orell. The bust was made at Orell's father's home. The father was not arrested.
McDowell County Sheriff Martin West says this is only the second case of a possible meth lab arrest in the county.
West said the office had received several complaints over the possible criminal activity at the residence.
Orell was being held on $25,000 bond.
