Marlinton second-graders make PSA to help shelter animals

MARLINTON (WVVA) - Students in Susan Arbogast's second-grade class at Marlinton Elementary School have created a video message to raise awareness of adoptable animals.

The public service announcement was produced for a nationwide contest conducted by the Mutt-i-gree Foundation. While the Pocahontas County students' entry did not win the grand prize, it is eligible to win the foundation's 'Second Chance' contest.

Any time the students' video is viewed at the link below, it receives one vote. The video with the most votes by noon on Jan. 16 will receive $1,500 for the school.

To view the students' video, click the following link. Scroll to the bottom of the video thumbnail images to find Marlinton Elementary's entry. (It's at the very bottom of the far-right column, featuring a young female student in a pink shirt.)

Congratulations to Mrs. Arbogast's second-graders at Marlinton Elementary!
