PRINCETON (WVVA) - The man found guilty of wielding a machete during the 2011 robbery of a Mercer County restaurant has been sentenced to 40 years behind bars.

Byron Blackburn, 36, was found guilty last November of first-degree robbery of the Wendy's on Cumberland Road in Bluefield.

He received his sentence Friday.

Blackburn will be eligible for parole after 10 years.
