PRINCETON (WVVA) - One person is dead after an early-morning house fire near Princeton.
The blaze broke out around 2 a.m. at a home on Old Pisgah Road. Neighbors say an elderly man lived in the home with a female caretaker.
Authorities have not confirmed the identity of the victim. Neighbors called 911 after a motorist driving by say the fire and began blowing the car horn.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The state fire marshal was on scene Sunday morning.
