COAL MOUNTAIN (WVVA) - State Police say foul play is suspected in the death of a Wyoming County man who body was discovered earlier this week.
The body of Steven Ray Lawrence, 35, was discovered Tuesday along Coal Mountain Road in the Long Branch area. Lawrence had been missing since Saturday.
First Sgt. Michael Baylous said in a press release Friday that the case is being treated as a homicide.

COAL MOUNTAIN (WVVA) - A body found in Wyoming County has been identified as a man missing since last weekend.
Police say 35-year-old Steven Ray Lawrence was found dead around 3 p.m. Tuesday on Coal Mountain Road. The body was found about a half mile from where the man went missing.
The death is considered suspicious. No other details have been given.

SIMON (WVVA) - Sheriff's deputies in Wyoming County are seeking information regarding the whereabouts of a missing man.
Deputies say 35-year-ol Steven Ray Lawrence was last seen Saturday in the Long Branch area of Wyoming County. He was wearing a denim jacket, blue jeans and possibly brown work boots.
Lawrence is described as 5'10", 170 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He has no tattoos and had one finger reattached on his right hand after being partially cut off.
