BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - The Bluefield, W.Va., zoning committee voted unanimously to put a new rezoning ordinance before the Board of Directors.
This comes after College Avenue homeowners -- unhappy with declining property values -- went before the zoning committee at city hall on Wednesday.
The ordinance would restrict the number of multiple family dwellings -- along a section of College Avenue.
Homeowners at the meeting spoke in support of the new measure -- citing this is what needs to be done to stop property values from declining further.
