LEWISBURG (WVVA) - A new swimming pool at the Lewisburg campus of New River Community and Technical College is a hot topic in Greenbrier County.
County commissioners voted 2 to 1 to fund a fine arts and aquatics center project at the college, but a group of concerned citizens say the commission violated code by using hotel tax money to fund a project to be built on property the county doesn't own.
The citizens sent a letter to the commission, threatening legal action if the money isn't refunded by Dec. 10.
