West Virginia is heading to Yankee Stadium for the Pinstripe Bowl.
The Mountaineers will face former Big East foe, Syracuse. The Orange were 7-5 this season the same as WVU.
West Virginia went 7-5 in 2012, under second-year head coach Dana Holgorsen, in its first season in the Big 12.
This will be West Virgina's first apperance in Yankee Stadium since 1947 where they beat NYU 40-0.
Syracuse leads the all-time series vs. West Virginia, 32-27, winning the last two meetings.
The game is scheduled for Saturday December 29th from the House that Ruth Built.
