UPDATE: Third victim in Greenbrier County crash has died

UPDATE: RONCEVERTE (WVVA) - The driver in what police have called a fatal drag race crash in Greenbrier County has died, the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department has confirmed to WVVA News.

Jason Hoke wrecked his vehicle near Organ Cave on Route 219 last Saturday. Two passengers, Billy Hoke of Union and Dallas Morgan of Ronceverte, died immediately following the crash.

Jason Hoke had been in critical condition at Charleston Area Medical Center since the crash.

Investigators said the victims were involved in a drag race with another vehicle. No charges have been filed thus far.

UPDATE: RONCEVERTE (WVVA)-- Another person has died from his injuries from a crash Saturday on Route 219 in Ronceverte.

Sheriff Jim Childers says that 36-year-old Billy Hoke of Union was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

30-year-old Dallas Morgan of Ronceverte was pronounced dead on the scene.

Sheriff Childers says that two cars were racing on the road near Organ Cave. The car that both Morgan and Hoke were in lost control and crashed into a tree.

The driver of that car was 29-year-old Jason Hoke of Union. He is in CAMC in Charleston in critical condition.

The other car that was racing fled the scene after the crash.

The accident is under investigation by the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department.

Greenbrier County 911 says the accident happened near Organ Cave in Ronceverte.

Details are limited about the crash currently. It is unknown how the accident happened or how many vehicles are involved.

The Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department is on scene and WVVA will have the latest details as they become available.
