Princeton women feed those in the line of duty on Thanksgiving

Posted:

PRINCETON (WVVA) - Although a lot of people are off work on Thanksgiving, many are required to report to work – especially our local police and rescue squad personal.

And a few ladies made sure they were not forgotten about.

Candy and Dolly Brown spent all day Wednesday cooking meals for local rescue squads, local police departments and the Princeton Manor retirement home.

The women say seeing the appreciation from everyone is well worth all the work.

The ladies prepared the meals on behalf of the Princeton Praise and Worship Church on Thorn Street.
