ATHENS, W.Va. – The Concord University Performing Arts will be presenting a percussion ensemble and jazz band concert on Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. in the Alexander Fine Arts Center's Main Auditorium.
The percussion ensemble features talented percussion students under the direction of Mr. Casey Cangelosi. Dr. Laura Zamzow, director of bands/assistant professor of music, said that the jazz band "will be featuring works from jazz legend Duke Ellington and a preview of our Holiday Open House." The open house will be Dec. 4 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at University Point.
There is no cost of admission for the concert. Concord students, faculty, and staff, along with members of the community, are encouraged to come enjoy the sounds of the percussion ensemble and jazz band.
