Santa Claus kicked off his holiday season at the Mercer Mall Saturday.
While the elves are busy back at the North Pole getting all the toys ready for Christmas, Santa will be making stops at the Mercer Mall from now until Christmas.
It is a great chance for families to pass the Christmas tradition down to their next generation.
Santa also kicked off his holiday schedule at the Crossroads Mall in Beckley. Santa was flown to the mall by helicopter before he met with kids to see what they wanted for Christmas.
