BECKLEY (WVVA) - A drug roundup in Raleigh County has netted 10 arrests, with police seeking eight more.
The Beckley Police Department conducted the sweep along with assistance from the US Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force.
The warrants are the results of several months of investigations conducted by the Beckley PD Narcotics Unit.
Among the arrested are:
- Nicholas Shannon Brehm, 39, of Beckley - charged with delivery of oxycodone
- Clennel Cobb, 41, of Beckley - charged with delivery of cocaine
- Sherry Collins, 46, of Beaver - charged with delivery of oxycodone
- Athena Grizzle, 27, of Beckley - charged with delivery of oxycodone, 2 counts
- Brandon Corey Mays, 19, of Beckley - charged with delivery of marijuana
- Joey Norkevitz, 47, of Mount Hope - charged with possession of oxycodone
- Erica Polk, 31, of Sophia - charged with possession of oxycodone
- Patricia Wright, 55, of Beckley - charged with delivery of oxycodone
- Malique Medley, 19, of Beckley - charged with wanton endangerment
- Timmie Ann Bragg, 47, of Beckley - charged with petit larceny
Eight individuals remain at large. They are:
- Billy Biggs, 50, of Beckley - charged with attempt to obtain by fraud
- Brittany Hudson, 21, of Beckley - charged with delivery of marijuana, 2 counts
- Randy Jennings, 29, of Beckley - charged with delivery of oxycodone
- James Thomas, 25, of Beckley - charged with possession of marijuana
- Norman Underwood, 51, of Dry Branch - charged with attempt to obtain by fraud
- Jeffrey Williams, 33, of Beckley - charged with possession of oxycodone
- Darnell Mitchell, 25, of Beckley - charged with obstructing
- Darren Johnson, 41, of Beckley - charged with nighttime burglary
Anyone currently sought by police can turn themselves in at the Beckley Police Department.
According to Police Chief Tim Deems, many of these drug investigations start from information received from the public. Anyone with information about illegal drug activity is urged to contact the Beckley PD at 304-256-1710.
