Cedar Bluff cuts ribbon on new fire station


CEDAR BLUFF (WVVA) - A Tazewell County town celebrated a major milestone Thursday, with the opening of its first fire station.

Dozens of local dignitaries gathered as he town of Cedar Bluff cut the ribbon in front of the new facility.

Cedar Bluff received a low-interest loan in order to pay for the facility, equipment and furnishings.

The department currently consists of 20 trained firefighters.

The station is located in front of the elementary school, in the middle of town.
