Bluefield, VA (WVVA)---Although most students at Graham High School are not old enough to vote, Monday they spoke out about who the next Commander in Chief should be.
The entire High School gathered to listen to students portray President Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden, Governor Mitt Romney, and his Running Mate Paul Ryan. Several students even played the role of secret service agents.
The Advanced Placement Government class coordinated the event.
Organizers hope the mock election will express the importance of voting to the students.
Forrest Yates a Senior who portrayed Paul Ryan during the mock election said, "I think a lot of students don't really know much about politics and this will give them a chance to see what Republicans stand for and what Democrats stand for, and just a little fun to have."
Four hundred students chose Mitt Romney as the next President of the US, Beating out President Obama, who brought in 153 votes.
Faculty says in the past six presidential elections at Graham the students have picked the winner.
