UPDATE: SPRAGUE (WVVA) - A juvenile wanted in connection with the shooting death of a man in Raleigh County last weekend has been taken into custody.

The juvenile was arrested around 1 a.m. Thursday morning on Burgess Street. He is currently jailed on a petition for first-degree murder.

UPDATED: SPRAGUE (WVVA)--- A man in Sprague is shot and killed on his front lawn Sunday morning.

Beckley police say three men attempted to turn their car around in 54-year-old Danny Kennedy's driveway.

Kennedy and the men got in a heated argument.

After returning from inside his house, Kennedy was shot once.

The men fled on foot, but police captured 22-year-old Dominic Paige of Beckley.

And 28-year-old Antonio Wade also of Beckley.

Police are still searching for a juvenile.

ORIGINAL STORY

SPRAGUE (WVVA)--- Police have one in custody and are searching for two after a man is shot and killed in his front yard.

Police in Beckley say that 54-year-old Danny Kennedy was shot once in his front yard and died at a local hospital.

Beckley Sheriff's Department say that three people were leaving Kennedy's neighbors house Sunday morning and turned around in Kennedy's driveway.

Kennedy and the three males got into a heated exchange of words outside his home.

After Kennedy went inside, he then returned outside where he was shot.

The three males fled on foot, and police were able to capture one of the suspects, 22-year-old Dominic Paige of Beckley.

Police are still searching for a juvenile and a man named Antonio Wade both from the Beckley area.

It is unknown who pulled the trigger in the shooting.
