ATV rider suffers 2 broken legs in crash

ALDERSON (WVVA) - A Greenbrier County teen was hospitalized after the ATV he was riding crashed into a car.

The accident occurred around 1 p.m. Thursday on Blue Sulphur Springs Road near Alderson.

Police say the ATV drifted across the highway and into oncoming traffic, striking a car head-on.

The driver of the ATV was OK, but a passenger was taken to Greenbrier Valley Medical Center with two broken legs. He is currently in stable condition.

Both riders were wearing helmets.

No one in the car was injured.
