BLUEFIELD, W.Va (WVVA)-- DISH plans to hire 200 full-time employees at its customer care center in Bluefield. The jobs will be long-term with benefits.
Human Resources Manager Keith Novotny says the jobs come at a good time before the holiday season.
The area took a hit with recent layoffs in area coal mines and Norfolk Southern. Marc Meachum with the Bluefield Chamber of Commerce says the DISH jobs will have a positive local impact and could draw other businesses to the area.
