Sandy shuffling Football Friday schedules

BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - The aftermath of superstorm Sandy is forcing several schools to change the dates and/or locations of this week's high school football games.

Following is the list of this week's games in the WVVA viewing area, and any changes that have been made to the start time, day, or venue.

List will be updated as we receive new information.

This is the 11th and final week of the high school football regular season.

  • Bluefield at Wayne - Still Friday, 7:30 p.m.
  • Independence at Fayetteville - Saturday, 11 a.m. at Greenbrier East
  • Greenbrier East at James Monroe - Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
  • Wyoming East at Liberty - Saturday at 7 p.m. at Hunnicutt Stadium in Princeton
  • PikeView at Midland Trail - Friday at 7 p.m. at Greenbrier East
  • Mount View at Grundy - no update
  • Oak Hill at Lincoln County - no update
  • Westside at River View - Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
  • Musselman at Shady Spring - Friday at 7 p.m. at Hunnicutt Stadium in Princeton
  • Valley at Summers County - still Friday at 7:30 p.m.
  • Tazewell at Richlands - Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
  • Radford at Giles - Friday at 7 p.m.
  • Narrows at Graham - Still Friday at 7:30 p.m.
