BLUEFIELD (WVVA) - Four Seasons Country honored educators with a special ceremony Thursday evening at Cole Chevy in Bluefield.
WVVA and the Bluefield Daily Telegraph joined Cole Chevy in celebrating the area's teachers -- ultimately rewarding McDowell County educator Amanda Marshall the title of Teacher of the Year.
Marshall -- who teaches fourth graders at Fall River Elementary -- receives a GM vehicle of her choice from Cole Chevy to drive for one year.
Marshall said she was humbled by the experience.
Teachers from Bland, McDowell, Mercer and Tazewell counties were honored during the event.
