PRINCETON -- The Princeton Senior High Marching Band will host their Fourth Annual Marching Band Invitational Southern Thunder 4 "The Thunder Rolls", Saturday Oct. 13th @ Hunnicutt Stadium. The competition gets underway at 1:00 and features ten (10) high school bands from across the two Virginias.
Bands will be judged by guest adjudicators who will rate the bands on marching, music, general effect and show design. Judges will also give awards for percussion, color guard and drum major. In addition the 3rd annual Suzy Fry Spirit Award and Matt Hazelwood Drum Major of Distinction Awards will also be presented.
Gates open at 11:30 and admission is $5. A Vendor Village and plenty of concessions will be available.
