Grant could help rid Princeton of chronic flooding

Posted:

PRINCETON (WVVA) - Chronic flooding of the Stafford Drive area of Princeton could be remedied if the town is awarded a Small Cities Grant.

The city council has collected more than 2,100 signatures to petition that the town pursue $500,000 in grant money to fix the flooding problem.

The town has applied for the grant in the past.

A decision on whether Princeton will be awarded the funding will be made next month.
