PRINCETON (WVVA) - Wednesday marks one year since the disappearance of a 64-year-old woman from a Mercer County health facility -- and the search continues.

Barbara Thomason vanished on Sept. 26, 2011 from Southern Highlands Community Mental Health Center. Thomason has special needs and was last seen leaving Southern Highlands.

A moment of silence was held at the health center at 11:30 a.m. as a tribute to Thomason.

The search for Thomason has taken investigators across two states, but authorities say they're receiving fewer leads as time goes by.

"Right now we are still following up on every lead we have, any new tips," said investigating officer Sgt. David Whited. "We have been to Roanoke Virginia following up on leads all the way through West Virginia and Virginia. Unfortunately all leads have led us to no new information."

If you have any information on Thomason's whereabouts contact your local authorities.
