RAINELLE (WVVA) - A Greenbrier County man is behind bars for allegedly stealing valuables from a friend.
Ryan Dwight Rhodes faces charges for allegedly stealing jewelry from a Rainelle woman he was staying with.
Police say Rhodes broke into a cabinet and other areas of the home and stole several pieces, including a diamond ring, necklace chain, diamond pendant and a gold coin.
Rhodes allegedly pawned the items for a total of more than $750.
The items' total value is an estimated $8,000.
Rhodes faces two counts of grand larceny and two of transferring stolen goods.
