GREEN VALLEY (WVVA) - An alleged shoplifter and getaway driver have been arrested.
26-year-old Sabrina Long of Princeton has been charged with shoplifting and felony child neglect resulting in risk of injury.
The suspected driver, 28-year-old Tabitha England of Princeton is also charged with child neglect as well as reckless fleeing in a vehicle, felony assault and driving with a suspended license.
The pair are accused in an incident at Grant's Supermarket in Green Valley in which Long allegedly stole items from the store and fled in a car driven by England.
An off-duty officer working security confronted the suspects and was dragged approximately 10 feet while the car sped away.
The officer is OK.

GREEN VALLEY (WVVA) - An off-duty police officer was dragged approximately 10 feet by a car after trying to stop an alleged shoplifter from fleeing the Grant's Supermarket in Green Valley.
Police say a dark-haired woman left the store with items she stole. She entered a yellow car where another female was waiting.
An off-duty police officer working as security approached the car when it took off, dragging the officer.
The car got away. The officer was not seriously injured.
