Organizers are hoping for great weather and a large turnout for a gathering to benefit a Summers County child fighting cancer.
The Benefit for Lane Houchins is scheduled for Sunday, September 23 from Noon til 4 PM in Hinton. There will be food, a silent auction, entertainment, carriage rides, bake sales and more.
Advanced tickets can be purchased at Summers County ARH, New River Hair Design, Massie Insurance and Dr. Miller's Office.
All proceeds will assist Lane's family with the medical bills.
Some of the items already donated for auction and raffle include a 4-day cruise, ACE Rafting Trip, Winterplace Lift Tickets and Lessons, Bobcat Fitness Center Membership and more.
