BLAND (WVVA) - As rain continues to fall across the region, Appalachian Power reports hundreds of customers without power.
The outage map on AEP's website reported approximately 2,700 customers without service across several counties in WVVA's viewing area Tuesday morning.
The most outages were listed in Bland and Giles counties. Outages were also posted in Wythe, Buchanan, Mercer and McDowell counties.
There was no word on the specific cause of the outages or when service would be restored.
