BECKLEY (WVVA) - A fugitive living in a tent has been arrested on child porn charges after allegedly selling computer equipment loaded with pornographic images.
John Benedict Vavrecka, 46, had been living in a tent behind the Beckley Plaza Mall and using Wi-fi from surrounding businesses.
Vavrecka was a fugitive from Claypool, Ariz., where he also faces child porn charges.
A man went to the police with a flash drive and external hard drive claiming to have purchased them from Vavrecka.
Police found more than 44,000 pornographic photos of children on those drives.
Vavrecka is currently in Southern Regional Jail on
