RAVEN (WVVA) - Authorizes in Tazewell County have seized a malnourished horse found tied to a tree in Tazewell County and are seeking information about the owner.
The 4-year-old horse was found by sheriff's deputies tied to a tree in the Daw Road area of Raven.
A county code enforcement officer and local veterinarian were called to the scene. The horse was seized by the sheriff's department and is receiving treatment.
