Princeton PD officer involved in domestic incident resigns

PRINCETON (WVVA) - The Princeton City Police officer who allegedly pulled over her domestic partner and got into a lengthy argument with her at the police station has resigned.

Mary Beth Gergley was a 16-year veteran of the force.

Chief Powell says Gergley resigned last Friday.

The incident occurred on June 17. She had been on administrative leave since.
