Rocky Gap teens appear in lights in Times Square

ROCKY GAP (WVVA) - A photo featuring a pair of Bland County teens re-enacting a scene from the movie 'Titanic' was showcased above Times Square in New York City recently.

The photo, featuring Lindsay Watters and best friend Gabby Swetnam -- both students at Rocky Gap High School -- had been entered in a contest related to the release of 'Titanic' in 3D on Bluray, family members shared with WVVA News.

Entrants were asked to tweet a photo that re-enacted a scene from the motion picture.

While the teens' photo did not when the grand prize, it was chosen to be displayed on the 'Titanic' billboard in Times Square, New York City.

The teens took their photo at the pier at Surfside Beach.
