UPDATE: TAZEWELL (WVVA) - A sex offender described as 'dangerous' by authorities has been apprehended in Tazewell County.

Dyllan Otto Naecker was found Wednesday at his girlfriend's residence on Taft Lane -- off Route 460 -- between Bluefield, Va., and Springville.

Deputies were able to determine Naecker's girlfriend's identity after she "liked" the Tazewell County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

This information provided deputies with critical information as to his girlfriend's residence and her name.

The girlfriend, Samantha Dillow, has been charged with obstruction of justice.

Naecker was taken into custody without incident and may be facing charges in Virginia for failure to register as a Sex Offender and may also face federal charges for crossing state lines under the Adam Walsh Act.

Members of the U.S. Marshalls office are interviewing the suspect with detectives from the Tazewell County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Brian Hieatt stated, "Our community is safer tonight with this predator off the streets. He will face the justice system as required and I would like to ask the community to join me in thanking the hard working deputies that brought this fugitive in without incident."
