ALDERSON (WVVA) - A fugitive from justice has been arrested in Greenbrier County after police say he attempted to ram a police squad car, running it off the road.

Greenbrier County Sheriff Jim Childers says Shawn Allen Kimberlin, 35, was traveling on Route 63 near Alderson in a red Dodge truck Sunday night when he allegedly veered into the oncoming lane and ran Deputy T.C. Webber -- who was on patrol -- off the road.

Kimberlin was apprehended at a nearby hot dog stand. It was discovered he was wanted in Alleghany County, Va., on drug charges, including the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine.
