ALDERSON (WVVA) - A Summers County man faces multiple charges after an alleged assault in a bank parking lot.
Police say James Depriest assaulted two people in the parking lot of City National Bank in Alderson.
Police also discovered Depriest was a sex offender who was unregistered in Greenbrier County, where he had been staying.
Depriest also allegedly stole $30 that one of the victims had just taken from an ATM.
Depriest is charged with robber, two counts of battery and is now required to register as a sex offender in Greenbrier County.
