BECKLEY (WVVA)--- The man wanted for robbing the First Community Bank in Beckley has been arrest.

West Virginia State Police have arrested 48-year-old James Williams.

Police say that Williams changed his appearance after robbing the bank and fleeing into the woods.

Williams is in Southern Regional Jail on $500,000 bond.

UPDATE: BECKLEY (WVVA) - Police have apparently found some type of evidence in a wooded area behind the bank and have taken a possible suspect into custody.

No charges have been filed at this time.

BECKLEY (WVVA) - Authorities in Raleigh County have received a report of a bank robbery.

Raleigh County 911 dispatch says the call was received from the First Community Bank on Citizens Drive in Beckley at 9:25 a.m. Friday morning.

There's no word at this time if the suspect was armed or if any money was taken.
