WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va (WVVA)-- Stan grew up in White Sulphur Springs, and when he moved back to Greenbrier County later in life, he went back to his old hometown.
Some of his friends spoke with WVVA Thursday. They said Stan left a mark on them all, and they would never forget him. They will cherish the memories they have as they remember "Stan the Man" or "Sonny" as some of them called him in his youth.
