RAINELLE (WVVA) - A Greenbrier County man has been arrested on drug distribution charges after police executed a search warrant on his home.
Members of the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department Narcotics Unit, assisted by the Greenbrier County Sheriff's Department SWAT team executed the warrant at the home of Robert Lee Nicholas on Riverside Drive in Rainelle Wednesday, following an investigation that began last month.
Investigators received information that Nicholas, 48, was involved in the illegal distribution of controlled substances at the residence. A warrant for his arrest was issued after police conducted undercover drug buys.
A quantity of prescription pills and US currency were seized during the search.
Nicholas is charged with distribution of oxycodone. He was released on $10,000 bond.
Police say additional charges are forthcoming.
