OAK HILL (WVVA) - Twenty-two suspects were arrested on drug-related charges during a round-up in Fayette County Monday morning.
Charges against those arrested include delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony. The sweep was centered around the Oak Hill and Mount Hope communities.
The illegal drug sales in the investigation ranged from cocaine and marijuana to prescription medications.
As of Monday afternoon, five suspects remain at large:
- Patrick Settle – Oak Hill, WV
- Charles Wriston – Oak Hill, WV
- Antwol Moore – Oak Hill, WV
- Candi Swafford – Mt. Hope, WV
- Frank Sizemore – Page, WV
Ages or additional information on the remaining suspects was not released.
The sweep was the result of a six-month investigation conducted by members of the Central Regional drug Task Force, West Virginia State Police, Fayette County Sheriff's Department, Nicholas County Sheriff's Department, Oak Hill Police Department, Mount Hope Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service.
Authorities say much of the information leading to the arrests was initiated by complaints or tips from residents in the affected communities.
