CU Classes now Offered in Lewisburg

ATHENS, W.Va. - Concord University will be offering classes at Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg, W.Va., for the 2012 Fall Semester. Classes, which begin Wednesday, Aug. 22, include ceramics, drawing, weaving, creative writing, social work and recreation and tourism management.
 
Gary Roper, owner of The Washington Street Gallery in Lewisburg, will be teaching the drawing and ceramics classes at Carnegie Hall.  Roper said, "My approach to teaching is designed to be both engaging and encouraging. The goal is to learn the proper techniques in any discipline and understand that there is always room for growth."
      
Registration is currently underway and interested students may call admissions at 1-888-384-5249 or the Lewisburg office at (304) 520-01CU (0128) or email Lewisburg@concord.edu.  Students may also visit the Lewisburg office, located on the second floor of Carnegie Hall, for information. The office is open from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
