CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. (WVVA) -- A Logan County man has been charged in a fatal accident involving a 21-year-old firefighter who was the son of Chapmanville's mayor.

Cory Price of Chapmanville died in August 2011 after an approaching car lost control and struck his motorcycle along state Route 10.

A criminal complaint says Thomas Dillon of Chapmanville is charged with negligent homicide, driving without insurance, going left of center and failure to maintain control. Investigators determined Dillon was speeding.

Price was the son of Chapmanville Mayor Jerry Price and was a member of the Logan and Chapmanville fire departments.
