BECKLEY (WVVA) -A Double Festival Pageant will be held on Saturday, August 4th at Tamarack. This pageant production will crown the Teen, Miss and Ms. Queens for the Appalachian Festival and Beckley's Kids Classic Festival. Twenty-four contestants are registered for the event.
The evening competition begins at 5:30 p.m. and will include contestant promos, evening gown, and on-stage question.
Crowning will take place around 7:30 p.m. Contestants have the opportunity to win official state titles and make appearances throughout the next year representing the community and festivals.
The winners of the "Miss" category will go on to compete for the State Fair Queen title at the West Virginia Fairs & Festivals Convention in January.
