BRUSHFORK, W.Va. (AP) -- A missing person report in Mercer County led to the discovery of the 25-year-old male trapped in his vehicle after it ran off the road.
The man was discovered in his car over the weekend after a pair of good Samaritans flagged down Deputy J.D. Ellison. They saw the man's car run off the road and down a hill.
Ellison was on patrol after he was notified of the missing report on the man.
Emergency responders had to assist in the removal of the man from his car. His condition is not known.
Ellison said an investigation continues into the circumstances leading to the crash.
