BECKLEY, W.Va. (AP) -- Fire officials are investigating a blaze that damaged the Beckley Mountain Homestead Museum.
Beckley Fire Department Lt. Terry Fischer says the fire doesn't appear to be suspicious.
A passer-by reported the fire early Thursday.
Fischer tells The Register-Herald that firefighters extinguished the blaze in about 30 minutes. He says the log structure isn't a total loss and can be rehabilitated.
No injuries were reported.
The museum is located next to the Beckley Exhibition Coal Mine.
