BECKLEY (WVVA) - Officials gathered in Beckley Thursday to discuss preparations in the event of a major emergency.
The meeting was specifically tailored to faith-based organizations and their role in an emergency situation.
Attendees learned new strategies, tactics and which agencies to contact.
Organizers say the recent storm provided lessons for organizers.
