DANESE (WVVA) - A Fayette County man is dead after an early-morning motorcycle crash.
The crash occurred around 1:25 a.m. Wednesday on Loops Road in the Danese area.
Investigators say the motorcycle was traveling south when the driver lost control, ran into a ditch and was ejected from the vehicle.
The 47-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
A witness stated the driver had just purchased the motorcycle from the Rainelle area and was returning to his home.
Police say the driver did not have a motorcycle endorsement on his license.
