PRINCE GEORGE, Va. (AP) -- Authorities are investigating a boating accident that killed one boy and injured another in Prince George County.
The Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries tells media outlets that the boys were on an inner tube being pulled by a boat on Butterworth Pond. When the boat made a turn, the inner tube hit a tree.
Ten-year-old Grayson Payne Austin was pronounced dead at a hospital in Richmond. A 9-year-old boy was in critical condition. His name hasn't been released.
