BLUEFIELD Va. (WVVA) - A driver was injured after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed on Route 460 Friday morning.
The single-vehicle crash occurred before 9 a.m. when a black sedan traveling eastbound on Route 460 near Bluefield, Va., lost control, entered the median, went up an incline in the median and apparently flipped, coming to a rest on the shoulder.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle. There were no other occupants inside.
A helicopter landing zone was being established to transport the victim to a nearby hospital.
The extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.
